About bellarine fly fishing association (BFFA)

Join our inclusive fly fishing club catering to anglers of all ages and skill levels. With over 30 friendly members, we offer opportunities to fish in both freshwater and saltwater environments. Our club organises trips, competitions, and guest speaker events, fostering a welcoming community where new members are embraced. What We Do

Experience a vibrant community of fly fishing enthusiasts at our club, where monthly meetings, exhilarating club trips, and engaging fly tying sessions await our members.

Monthly Meetings

Join us monthly to plan club trips, competitions, and refine casting skills with member guidance. Share fishing reports, learn techniques, and foster camaraderie. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:30pm (excluding Christmas).

Club Trips

Join our club on exciting fly fishing trips, exploring diverse salt and freshwater species. From day outings to multi-day adventures, immerse yourself in learning and camaraderie. Fish by day, socialise by night, and enhance your skills among fellow enthusiasts.

Fly Tying

Join our fly tying sessions every third Monday (excluding Christmas). Members showcase trip-specific patterns, even providing some materials if required. Perfect for beginners or those honing their skills.

How to become a member

To become a member, call the number below and chat to our friendly president. He will send you a membership form to fill in and return to the club. Alternatively, just drop into the club and attend one of our monthly meetings held the first Monday of each month (except December and January). See the map below for our club room address.
